About Becom

Becom is a single place for the things that usually end up in five: your goals, your daily habits, the list of what you want to do before you are done, a journal, and the money that pays for all of it.

Why it exists

Most people who are serious about any of this end up with a habit app, a to-do app, a notes app, a spreadsheet for the money and a folder of screenshots for the vision board. Each one is good at its job. None of them knows about the others.

So the habit app never learns that the streak it is congratulating you for is in service of a goal with a date on it, and the spreadsheet never learns that the EMI in row nine is the reason the goal keeps slipping. The information needed to make a decision is split across five places that cannot see each other.

Becom is the attempt to put them against one account so that join exists: a goal that costs money appears beside the month that funds it, a bucket-list entry becomes a goal without being retyped, and the vision board is made of things you are already tracking rather than a collage you have to remember to update.

How we build it

These are not aspirations. Each one is a decision already made, and each cost us something to make.

We describe what it does, not what it nearly does

The privacy note on the homepage does not claim end-to-end encryption, because the server renders your journal and can therefore read it. Saying otherwise would be easier and would be false.

Nothing renews behind your back

There is no stored card and no mandate. When a plan ends, the account pauses and your data waits. A subscription you forgot about is not a business model we want.

No invented proof

There are no star ratings, no testimonial carousel and no “used by 10,000 people” line anywhere on this site, because we would have to make them up.

The free things stay free

The calculators run entirely in your browser, store nothing and ask for no account. The Learning Hub is open to read whether or not you ever pay.

We leave out what we cannot keep accurate

There is no income-tax or take-home calculator, though it is the most searched of the lot: the rules change every Budget, and a confidently wrong number about your salary is worse than no number.

Every calculator shows its working

Each one states its assumptions and what it deliberately ignores — the rental yield tool says out loud that it is before income tax, rather than quietly flattering the result.

Who makes it

Becom is built and run by Saarv Global, and it is the product we use ourselves — the habits, the journal and the Wealth Planner in this app are ones we fill in daily. That is the reason the awkward parts get fixed: we run into them first.

It is priced in rupees and written for how money works in India, which is why the Wealth Planner has a section for loans and EMIs rather than treating them as ordinary expenses, and why the free calculators are built around home loans, SIPs and rent versus buying.
